READING: The original uncut edition of STRANGER IN A STRANGE LAND by Hugo Award winner Robert A Heinlein - one of the most beloved, celebrated science-fiction novels of all time. Epic, ambitious and entertaining, STRANGER IN A STRANGE LAND caused controversy and uproar when it was first published and is still topical and challenging today. Twenty-five years ago, the first manned mission to Mars was lost, and all hands presumed dead. But someone survived... Born on the doomed spaceship and raised by the Martians who saved his life, Valentine Michael Smith has never seen a human being until the day a second expedition to Mars discovers him. Upon his return to Earth, a young nurse named Jill Boardman sneaks into Smith's hospital room and shares a glass of water with him, a simple act for her but a sacred ritual on Mars. Now, connected by an incredible bond, Smith, Jill and a writer named Jubal must fight to protect a right we all take for granted: the right to love.

READING: RUNNER-UP OF THE 2017 BODLEY HEAD & FINANCIAL TIMES ESSAY PRIZE In this sharp, witty essay, written from inside the Indian banking system, we witness the absurdities and mundanities of corruption and bureaucracy, set against a backdrop of modern urban India. In a personal battle with his moustachioed boss, Mukherjee illuminates a Kafkaesque system of compliance inherited from the British Raj and shows us how to walk away from it laughing.

READING: A vivid critique of American life today and a guide to how Christians—and particularly Catholics--can live their faith vigorously, and even with hope, in a post-Christian public square. From Charles J. Chaput, author of Living the Catholic Faith and Render unto Caesar comes Strangers in a Strange Land, a fresh, urgent, and ultimately hopeful treatise on the state of Catholicism and Christianity in the United States. America today is different in kind, not just in degree, from the past. And this new reality is unlikely to be reversed. The reasons include, but aren't limited to, economic changes that widen the gulf between rich and poor; problems in the content and execution of the education system; the decline of traditional religious belief among young people; the shift from organized religion among adults to unbelief or individualized spiritualities; changes in legal theory and erosion in respect for civil and natural law; significant demographic shifts; profound new patterns in sexual behavior and identity; the growth of federal power and its disregard for religious rights; the growing isolation and elitism of the leadership classes; and the decline of a sustaining sense of family and community.

READING: Taking his lead from his subject, Gershom Scholem—the 20th century thinker who cracked open Jewish theology and history with a radical reading of Kabbalah—Prochnik combines biography and memoir to counter our contemporary political crisis with an original and urgent reimagining of the future of Israel. In Stranger in a Strange Land, Prochnik revisits the life and work of Gershom Scholem, whose once prominent reputation, as a Freud-like interpreter of the inner world of the Cosmos, has been in eclipse in the United States. He vividly conjures Scholem’s upbringing in Berlin, and compellingly brings to life Scholem’s transformative friendship with Walter Benjamin, the critic and philosopher. In doing so, he reveals how Scholem’s frustration with the bourgeois ideology of Germany during the First World War led him to discover Judaism, Kabbalah, and finally Zionism, as potent counter-forces to Europe’s suicidal nationalism. Prochnik’s own years in the Holy Land in the 1990s brings him to question the stereotypical intellectual and theological constructs of Jerusalem, and to rediscover the city as a physical place, rife with the unruliness and fecundity of nature. Prochnik ultimately suggests that a new form of ecological pluralism must now inherit the historically energizing role once played by Kabbalah and Zionism in Jewish thought.

READING: High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles! Stranger in a Strange Land is a 1961 science fiction novel by American author Robert A. Heinlein. It tells the story of Valentine Michael Smith, a human who comes to Earth in early adulthood after being born on the planet Mars and raised by Martians. The novel explores his interaction with-and eventual transformation of-terrestrial culture. The title seems an allusion to the phrase in Exodus 2:22 (in the Biblical Book of Exodus). According to Heinlein, the novel's working title was The Heretic. Several later editions of the book have promoted it as "The most famous Science Fiction Novel ever written."

He finds a place to work - a dangerous place - in the booming steel industry in the north of England. He seeks a place to live. He thinks he has found one, but is told in no uncertain terms that it is no place for him. The trouble with Tio Mourillon is that he doesn't know his place. I am a Stranger in a Strange Land tells the story - based on true events in the life of the author's father - of one man's fight to buy a house and, in doing so, to establish his place in this world.

READING: High failure rates of expatriates continue to pose a challenge for individuals and organizations looking to succeed in today's global economy. This research applies a person-organization fit framework to understand the factors that contribute to a successful expatriate experience. Fit was assessed on five work-related value dimensions and on four broad cultural value dimensions. Expatriates' home country cultures were classified into two types of cultural clusters. The results suggested that fit on four of the five work-related value dimensions interacted with expatriates' home country cultural cluster to influence perceived overall fit. Perceived overall fit, in turn, mediated the effect of the interaction between fit and home country cultural cluster on expatriates' outcomes. In addition, fit on some value dimensions was directly related to expatriates' job satisfaction and turnover intentions. Perceived overall fit was positively related to job satisfaction and negatively to turnover intentions.

READING: A collection of five erotic stories with mixed themes. A Stranger In A Strange Land by Izzy French Life is dull for Sara in Riyadh, and her husband Chris is becoming increasingly emotionally remote. They fuck, but with little feeling and Sara believes he is having an affair, probably with another man. Her only option is to break the rules. On an illicit trip to the souk she is rescued from a predatory man, possibly the religious police, by their intriguing driver Jay, also a stranger here. He returns her to her compound and her illicit behaviour continues with Jay being an, at first, reluctant, then willing and adventurous participant in thrilling, punishing, dangerous and, ultimately, satisfying sex games. Peacocks by Elizabeth Cage Thirty-nine-year-old Nikki Campbell doesn’t believe in fate. While holidaying in Croatia, she fantasises about a sexy American tourist who struts around like a proud peacock. But on a day trip to the beautiful unspoilt island of Lokrum, a twist of fate results in her escalating desires finally being satisfied, although not quite in the way she expects ... Sex in Thailand by Eva Hore Alone in Thailand after a business trip in China this man decides he has the opportunity to cheat on his wife if he so desires. He gets more than he bargained for after picking up a sexy little number while visiting his first live sex show. 2101: A Sex Odyssey by John McKeown A travel writer assigned to report on the world’s first fully-fledged space hotel is keener to get his rocks off than to keep his irritable Earth-bound editor happy. Time is of the essence. If he files his story a nano-second late this extra-terrestrial Odysseus is out of a job. But distractions abound, and our hero is particularly desperate to experience sex in zero gravity. Ursula, a cafe waitress on the station, is willing to indulge the over-sexed hack, and to take him to a mind-blowing place where they’ve honed the weightless pleasures of the flesh down to a fine-art. Volcanoes by Dominic Santi When a volcano eruption closes airports across Europe, an American executive is forced to extend his business trip at the expense of an anniversary weekend with his wife. Heat erupts in his private life, however, when a chance encounter at the airport leads to the opportunity for him to live out the once-in-a-lifetime breast fetish of his dreams – so long as his voyeuristic wife gets to watch, in real time over the Internet.

READING: A project based on connection and experience with the unnatural landscape that has been carved out by humans. I aim to glorify these monumental heaps of industry and detach the negative stigma left behind from the industrial revolution in central Scotland. Physically walking the unnatural world of a bing and marking new pathways with string or salt act as a way to record the new surfaces discovered. A line through the bing representing an explorative mapping journey on the bing from starting point to finish. As I walk these pathways through the bing I resemble the blight of the bing. I embody the essence of a score on this newfound world. My body interacts with the bing I become the score and intertwine into the bings surface and land. I glorify these monumental heaps with stances of power and worship to help show the appreciation and admiration I have for these waste heaps and the former inhabitants of the bing. Walking these lands and the steep ascent and descent of these bings offer the same connection of staking a victorious climb to the top of a mountain. Much like the first climb on Everest a stake was struck into the mountain. I aim to glorify these bings by scaling on top of these monumental heaps and embody a former world and time where these bings were building and serving a greater good for the wider communities in Scotland and further a field.

READING: The Beacon-Seed is a long-hidden ancient understanding that appears to be connected to and provides a clear answer for our modern-day phenomenon called - The Mandela Effect. The topic of this book is a most powerful understanding for those who are yet unaware, and an understanding that gives a great power and sense of mission to those who have been awakened to it. This lost, and now reiterated precept of the Abrahamic blessing - The Beacon-Seed - is, much like Dr. Asher's previous book topics, another ancient original, but long hidden biblical topic that no one has been aware of because those who know of it refuse to teach it. This book is surely a Stranger in a Strange Land!
