READING: This current book describes my belief (with input from a great many people) as to how this country got to where it is today, where I fear it is going, and my absolute terror that the American people will elect Hillary in 2008. Why terror at her election? Because that will launch the country toward a totalitarian government. We no longer can believe that our elected officials are patriots. They are more acclimated to power and less concerned about the people and the country's history. The book is a departure from the others. It came to mind when watching a TV discussion group talking about whether Hillary would run for President in 2004. I was terrified that she would run and win. I then thought about it and decided I had some excellent reasons why she would not run in 2004 but would wait until 2008. The book goes into depth concerning the dangers to the Country of electing Hillary. My first three books: There Are No Bad Kids, "Never Underestimate the Arrogance or Stupidity of Government and High On Life were all published by 1st Books Library. The first was written as a result of a traumatic experience in our lives and the second describes what I believe created that trauma. "High On Life" creates a completely different atmosphere. The title came as the result of one of my children becoming hooked on cocaine. I faithfully believe that no one needs a narcotic to get high -- Life is the only high necessary!

READING: Is America done? Have we run our course? Is the best behind us with nothing but stagnation, turmoil, and decline ahead? Are we living during the fall of the United States, the New Roman Empire? Calls to Make America Great Again motivated millions of Americans recently to engage in the political process for the first time in their lives. Motivated by a concern that they, like the old Romans of the fifth century, were on the precipice of disaster. The ancient Romans, of course, were not naive; they saw the problems, they even had solutions, but they failed to save their civilization. Is this the destiny of the United States? Solutions to health care, taxes, immigration, crime, sex roles, and environmental degradation are numerous and available, but it seems, like the ancient Romans, Americans lack the political and social will, unity, and objectivity to get it done. Part of the problem is that the nation’s airways are filled with social commentators espousing liberal, conservative, Republican, Democrat, progressive, anarchist, and other partisan perspectives for the nation’s condition. All of this hyperbole, fake news, spin doctoring, and outright lies are a result of everyone relying upon partial, alternative, or simply made-up sets of facts. If we cannot even agree on the facts, then how in the world can we agree on what should or should not be done? Well, there is a solution to this: old-fashioned, scientifically grounded sociology. Not the current activist sociology, which has helped contribute to the static. But the type of sociology that adheres to the scientific methodology. By understanding and applying the sociological perspective, it is possible to not only understand the true nature of the problems facing the nation, but also how we arrived at this point, and where we can go from here. This is the promise of this book: by understanding sociology, we can then understand not only America, but also Americans. Only by embracing the truth about the nation’s status can we get back on the right path to fulfilling the promise of America.

The Book God and Hillary Clinton
The Author Paul Kengor
The Publisher Harper
Release Date2007-09-18
Genre Political Science
Pages 352
ISBN 0061136921
Language English, Spanish, And French

READING: For nearly three decades, political observers have sought to understand the complex relationship between Hillary Clinton's faith and her politics. Now, in this first spiritual biography of the former first lady, acclaimed historian Paul Kengor sets out to answer the elusive question: What does Hillary Clinton believe? Based on exhaustive research, God and Hillary Clinton tells the surprising story of Hillary's spiritual evolution, detailing how her lifelong religious beliefs have intertwined with her personal history to make her the politician that she is today. Born into a strict Methodist family and raised on a spiritual diet of private prayer and self-reliance, Hillary, at a young age, used the Methodist Church's emphasis on community service to catalyze her involvement in the changing world. From this unique foundation, Kengor looks at how the chaos of 1960s and 1970s America challenged Hillary's religious underpinnings, as she found herself drifting from her roots. Following her faith through her relationship with an aspiring politician named William Jefferson Clinton, Kengor examines the motivations that eventually led Hillary back to church as first lady of Arkansas and how her revitalized beliefs shaped her time there—from her Bible-study group to her husband's infidelities as governor. Although Hillary endured many hardships in Little Rock, her days in the White House tested her faith like no other time. Sifting through the spiritual impact of Hillary's ill-fated experimentation with New Age mysticism and the disastrous Monica Lewinsky scandal, Kengor investigates how she relied on God for the power to save her marriage and survive the most difficult chapter of her political career. While this spiritual chronology of Clinton's life is important, it does not tell the full story of her belief. Here Kengor fills in the gaps between the facts, analyzing the fraught relationship between her faith and her secular policies—most notably how she reconciles her pro-choice stance on abortion to her Christian beliefs—and scrutinizing how these policies have changed over the course of her political career. What emerges is an unexpected portrait of a political figure whose ideals have been shaped by both the power of her politics and the depth of her faith.

READING: From the old American culture to the new AMERIPHOBIA culture, it's taken the political psychopaths ( "POLITOPATHS") 50 years to permeate the formerly honored positions of America's gatekeepers of information. The media, politicians, churches, educators, celebrities, universities, literature, etc are the Gatekeepers now consider propaganda (yellow journalism) a badge of honor. Crises after crises, regulation after regulation brought us to time in history where the Constitution and Bible are considered merely documents. Jodie waited to write her personal accounts because it is well known that it is not healthy to write about Hillary or the Clinton Crime Cartel. With the election looming and the possibility of Hillary being the next president the fear for her grandchildren's freedoms eclipsed her personal fears. Ameriphobia has to stop!In 1969 and 1999, The Black 14 and Matthew Shepard murder case were used to promote an unAmerican political agenda. To accomplish this, the media's propaganda was used to falsely label the town of Laramie, Wyoming a racially bigoted and homophobic environment. Twice - 30 years apart Lies were transformed to facts. The Matthew Shepard hate crime was not a gay hate crime but the core of Hillary's need for a federal hate crime law that has erased our First Amendment Rights.
